Readers should take note that the study included those who have already beaten the virus with interferon combination therapy (ICT). The good news is that once you beat the virus with ICT, you are likely to remain virus-free. The bad news is that ICT only helps approximately one quarter of those infected with the most common strain of the virus, when you take into account those who had to stop or adjust their treatment due to the severe side effects.
